Welcome to the web site of JJ’s Magic Garden Australian Shepherds!

We have decided to breed Australian Shepherds in the Club für Australian Shepherd Deutschland (CASD), which is affiliated to the "Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)" and the FCI. Herewith every puppy buyer has a guarantee that the raising up of the puppies as well as our Kira and also the kennel are governed by the strict regulations of the breeders association. In order to obtain the breeding permission it is required that at least one VDH / FCI show result of at least "very good" obtained. Therafter the dog has to be presented at a breeding show and obtain at least a "very good" evaluation. There are also various health tests in which the dog needs to have positive results: Hip Dysplasy-Investigation (HD), Elbow Dysplasie-Investigation (ED) und various eye tests. The eye tests need to be repeated anually. The kennel is inspected by the breeding steward of the CASD and his "all clear" need to be given before any breeding is allowed to take place. It is thus ensured that the place is suitable for breeding dogs (in the living quarters and also the garden). The new breeder also has to take part at a breeding seminar which is followed by a test on the subject. Herewith a certain standard of specialised knowledge is guaranteed. Each puppy is inspected and controlled by the steward at least two times. The puppies are dewormed, vaccinated, chipped and tested for eye diseases. The puppy buyer recieves a folder with all the required documentation.

Our home is in Munster, in the heart of the Lüneburger Heide, about half way between the cities of Hamburg and Hannover We live in our detached house on a 1000m² property. The beautiful garden is best suited for our children and dogs to play in. Beause our childrens names both start with "J", we have fittingly selected the kennel name "JJ's Magic Garden".
On foot we are quickly in the forest or at the nearby lake and enjoy many relaxing walks with our four legged freinds. The dogs can only very seldomly resist jumping in the water... thats how aussies are! :-)
