Dairy of the Litter

08. Febraur 2011:
Now its almost a year ago that the little ones were born and are now almost grown up. How quickly time passes by! We are looking forward to meeting all the "little ones" again on Feb. 26th !!!

10. Mai 2010:
Yesterday Adoro and Ayu left us. They arrived in their new homes safe and sound and did very will during their first night. Ayu now lives on the island Borkum and Meilo (Adoro) lives in Porta Westfalica.

4. Mai 2010:
The first two pups, Murphy und Melvis, left us on Saturday. They were very brave and mastered their long journeys to Denmark and Güterloh without crying.

28th/29th April 2010:
The pups and their mum were at the beach of our local lake and had lots of fun! Photos can be seen in the photo album (link is above). On the 29th the steward was here for the final inspection of the litter and everything was fine. The first pups will leave us on the 1st of May an take residence in their new homes.

12th April 2010:
Today we had an appointment with the vet, specialised in eye examinations in Oerzen near Lueneburg. All puppies are clear of eye diseases. The drive took 30 minutes and all puppies did very well. Driving there there was some howling but on the return journey all puppies were relaxed and slept after all the excitement.

10th April 2010:
On Thursday the puppies were chipped: five didnt feel anything and two squeeked a little, but the fright was soon forgotten :-) On Monday the little ones will experience their first longer drive (30 minutes there - 30 minutes back) for the eye examination in Oerzen near Lueneburg.

28th March 2010:
All are doing very well and the little ones have now nearly all topped the 2000g mark.
They have been outside for the first time and have experienced their first thunderstorm.

14th March 2010:
The eyes of all the puppies are now open (more or less) and the "little ones" weigh at least 1000g.
Yesterday they were dewormed for the first time.

11th March 2010:
This moning the first-born black tri girl opened her eyes.
Every puppy has now more than twice the weight it had at birth.

8th March 2010:
The puppies are now one week old.. how quickly time passes! Mum and babies are doing great! :-)

4th March 2010
Kira and her puppies are doing great and the puppies are gaining weight nicely, and it must be said that the girls are gaining the most!
